Please post your comments and opinions to the following questions.
(a) should the SLC coordinate its meeting with that of the NOWRA board?
(b) if this is not workable because of the level of examination needed for the SCL task force work (e.g. Memphis meeting), is Kansas or St Louis a better location because of ease of travel and holding a separate meeting to allow the SLC more time to process the information? or
(c) does the joint meeting location offer an opportunity for the respective group task forces to have a face to face meeting to work on the resolution process and for the SLC members to participate with the NOWRA Board in defining actions from the 2007 member survey? |

a )Yes! b - c ) I think we need to cancel the meeting. It appears that the NOWRA Board will not be available to discuss the results of the Task Force in any case at this time. I am not sure what else we have on the agenda that warrants a face to face meeting at this time. If the Board meets quarterly, maybe we should wait until the fall quarter to meet with them. We need to see the survey results first before we meet with them so that we can digest it all ahead of time also. - Bob Lee _________________ Robert E. Lee, P.E. (Bob)

Bob has made two excellent points for consideration. Follow-up items -- should the information from the member survey be provided in advance of it being official presented - or as part of the worksession. The other factor is that the SLC Task Force needs to have its time to fully discuss the findings of its work.
